With a bespoke commission, I can create one-off furniture pieces, sculptures or objects tailored to your specific space, needs or wildest creative imaginings.
Whether we’re designing something completely new, altering one of my existing works or reimagining a disheveled-but-loved heirloom, you will be involved at every step of the way (or only partly involved, it’s up to you!).

The process explained.
1.0 Conversation
It all starts with a simple informal conversation. Whether through a phone/video call or visit, we’ll discuss your ideas, requirements, budget and timeframe. This is free and you are under no pressure to continue if things don’t feel right.
2.0 Design
Things start to take shape. Based on what we’ve discussed, I will create a series of initial sketches, samples or mood boards. In discussion, we will develop these into a clear concept and design direction to follow. I will then create a detailed proposal - with technical drawings, dimensions and material samples etc. - for you to approve. A paid deposit is taken at this stage.
3.0 Make
Sustainable materials will be sourced and then your piece will be made with care and consideration in my small workshop. I will keep you updated as the work progresses and you will be consulted if and when design decisions arise.
4.0 Delivery
With full payment received, I or a trusted courier service (depending on your location) will safely deliver your completed piece. I will provide care and maintenance advice before leaving you to use, enjoy and cherish whatever it is we’ve made together.
